	2:48pm v-dawg: I just read the wikipedia article. Apparently much of Thai food has Lao origins. Some "Thai" restaurants in US are Lao. I knew that some Isan restaurants say "Thai food". I did not know how far the Lao influence extended; many Thai restaurants have sticky rice, larb, and papaya salad.

I did not know how far the Lao influence extended; many Thai restaurants have sticky rice, larb, and papaya salad.
