When I was in JHS/HS my school bus route had a VERY cool driver who blasted WLIR on the bus radio every AM. Lots and lots of great stuff! Or just make a crapton of pesto and freeze THAT with a layer of olive oil on the top, and only add salt to the pesto after thawing. Have done both in the past, Mom the Botanist clued me in RE citric acid tip (she loved to cook and grew a lot of her own herbs, and being Ashkenazhi, we always had sour salt in the house).

Also it can taste oversalted after thawing; something RE chemicals and dehydration something something. YMMV but that's been my move back when I had a CSA membership and there would inevitably be one or two weeks where we literally got enough basil to start a one person landscaping company....

Or just make a crapton of pesto and freeze THAT with a layer of olive oil on the top, and only add salt to the pesto after thawing. Have done both in the past, Mom the Botanist clued me in RE citric acid tip (she loved to cook and grew a lot of her own herbs, and being Ashkenazhi, we always had sour salt in the house).
