?:
According to Ken earlier today the difference is that this one has access to ALL the archives whilst the earlier one only did the last month or so.
There are other differences too but that's the main one.
The newish android app seems to do all the old archives & play the current live streams too

one of the best shows ever was seeing them at Fort Greene Park
(early 2000s?) -- amazing sweet guys too, signed my 45s (they were happy that i still had them!)

boom boxes! how i heard a lot of these in the early 1980s -- last year in New Brunswick (college) then on NYC streets and in the subways when i started working -- so many people HATED the boom boxes, but i really loved the amazing soundtracks they provided πΊπΊ

it was! much better than having to listen to people yelling into their cell phones too (i know service/reception is not always great, but still -- so annoying, imho)

(my oldest friend in the world grew up in Yonkers -- we "met" as pen pals through "The Lou Reed Fan Club" -- he would buy records in NYC and mail them to me, i would send him money orders and my "want list" πΈπΈ)

slugluv1313:
they were so amazing! wish i could turn back time and you could have been there! πΊπΊ
Fort Greene Park had some really cool shows going on at the time -- saw Antibalas there too
