For political news consumption habit that will not cause terror everyday, I highly recommend Electoral-Vote.com. It’s is written by two university professors, they post once per day, and they provide an excellent summary of the previous days political news with a sober perspective. It’s all you need to keep up with presidential and senatorial politics. They don’t go in for much more.
