He did this one routine about growing up in a whorehouse. He said his grandmother would whip his ass with the hose of a douche bag when he misbehaved. To demonstrate this, he ran around yelping in pain which turned into an Indian rain dance. I could nor believe what I was seen.

	10:29am still b/p: I'd recommended Pryor's first standup concert movie to a much younger friend a couple times, describing how laugh-out-loud it was for me in earliest viewings. When he finally watched it, he could only give it a "meh." Age and different period....a different experience of media and of a much different world of no-rules comedy after the fuller loosening of 70s and beyond? Or just randomness of taste, or setting expectations too high? Who knows?

I found a Richard Pryor album and put it on, then climbed back up the ladder. Soon enough, the lady came into the room and took the record off. I climbed back down the ladder and we had a spirited discussion about censorship. She admitted that she loved Black humor, but the kids were home from school, so could I please pick some nice music to listen to instead?

When he finally watched it, he could only give it a "meh." Or just randomness of taste, or setting expectations too high? Who knows?
