F2! (or anyone) any thoughts on vintage microphones for DJ recording?
I have an interface unit for recording analog to digital that has a 1/4" jack for a mike input.
Some day I might want to record a segment to send you or for a Drop in show, but don't have a good microphone
Avatar 9:43pm
WLSClark:

↳ Harry Parmenter @9:42
YES, that was the show. I searched all over for the theme song for decades. Not sure I ever found it. Bought a VHS tape in 80s with it on it. "Come and follow me..." lyrics.

OK, I'll have to look into that to see if I can figure it out
Avatar 🥃 Swag For Life Member 9:51pm
Fatherflot:

If you get a standard analog mic with a XLR interface, you'll need a cord that goes XLR to 1/4 inch jack and then a stand. A USB table top podaster mic would be cheeper and easier to manage. They are quite good these days. Not roadworthy, but fine for just sitting on your desk at home.
