Hey Dean! That sculpture can be seen at Jones Beach's area 5 in Long Island, which is the most run down place at that beach. That sculpture is one of the redeeming features there.

I go back far enough to have seen Andy with the Wretched Refuse String Band (and I have their LP). Most recently saw Andy playing on Saturday night (after the Sabbath-he got to the North Jersey Synagogue he was playing at quite late, long drive from Brooklyn). The show was half clarinet, half mandolin.

You couldn't tell she was sick last night or today. (She never seemed sick, actually, but the blood in the vomitus had us and the vet panicked). Her tests at the Vet ER were mostly OK, gave her fluid and sent her home.

It was, and cost us 4 hours (and mucho dinero) at the Veterinary ER (thank goodness we have, for the 1st time, pet health insurance-we'll see what we get back...)

I was at a weekend wedding Labor Day weekend-both my daughters (and the bride) got COVID a day or so after. There's definitely lots of COVID out there (though I've read not quite as much as the July peak).
