	9:26pm Mr. X: The Beer Bunker... I've always been intrigued by that stretch of of SE Stark in Portland, whenever I had occasion to drive through it. Lots of odd shops and friendly looking bars, and an old movie theater. Never bothered to stop, though.

	👻 9:28pm Austin Rich: ↳ Mr. X @9:26 This place was nice. I got a free coffee drink while I was there, the patio / outdoor area in the back is excellent, and there's lots of other food and stuff to do in that area. And no one gave me a weird look for wearing a mask. All bonus points.

	9:30pm Tom: It's just not really designed for shows at all.

	9:36pm Tom: The band is me on bass, Evelyn on keyboards and saw, and Kurtis on keyboards, keyboard drums and bass. They are amazing.

A combination of collage, new experimental records and other bits and bobs, Mid-Valley Mutations is a tour through the mind of Austin Rich, who has been broadcasting in some form since 1998. Heavily influenced by Dr Demento, Don Joyce and old fashioned College Radio, Austin creates Audio Essays on a variety of subjects, and even just plays records, from time to time. Sometimes Live music and Interviews will grace the program, helping create a situation where you don't really know what you're going to hear, when you tune in. What you need to know is when you enter the Mid-Valley region, be prepared for the Musical Mutations... in whatever form they take.
