In 1992, Jeff Buckley and I became friends and spent time together sporadically. Our bond was music-related. On August 5, I invited Jeff to play guest DJ on my show. At the time, WFMU was based at 580 Springdale Ave, in East Orange NJ. He could play whatever he wanted, no restrictions. I recorded the program on cassette in real-time. After the show, I gave Jeff the tape as a keepsake. I never saw that tape again. A few years after Jeff's death in 1997, I asked his family and archivists if they had the tape, but no one could find it. In August 2024, someone in the Buckley archives found it and made me a digital transfer. This playlist was compiled and posted on September 2, 2024. The audio will be posted soon.

I will rebroadcast this feature (90 minutes long) on November 13, 2024, in commemoration of Jeff's birth date of November 17.
