Thanks Irene. I hate to complain but it's funny how much my cats have affected my listening habits. I like a lot of different music but they are far more picky.... for example I'm a big fan of Circle but they will leave the room if I put on one of their records. So I rarely do. On the other hand, stuff like Brandee Younger's latest LP "Brand New Life" seems to make them very very happy and content!

Thanks for playing Russell Malone. I just read a Ron Carter Facebook Post yesterday where he mentioned the tragic news. Ron Carter, Russell and Donald Vega were in the middle of a tour in Tokyo. Ron said they will finish the tour as a duo and included a picture of the empty chair for Russell.

Wolfgang! Hung out with him and his trio at the 2nd Annual Musicfest in Orlando in the late '80's. Super nice fellas, and they played amazing. Lent him my Les Paul when he popped a string...that guitar never sounded as good!
