What we're doing right now, it's why I never separate genres when I file records. I fucking hate it. I was talking with Gordon earlier today about how awesome it was to be a child who was obsessed with accumulating records starting in kindergarten. I had no idea there were genres or styles. I would just listen and decide if I liked it or not based on my own tastes. I liked and listened to Alice cooper then but also Neil Sedaka, CCR and James brown. What ever knocked my socks off.
Avatar 4:06pm
Debbie Davenport:

If I ever open a record store, I will just alphabetize everything. no scene separating.
Avatar 👻 4:07pm

It makes it easier for shoppers too. I would be a horrible record store owner. It would be a hobby for me.
Avatar 👻 4:08pm
Owo Org At John:

↳ Debbie Davenport @4:05
Generally, I put everything in the PC library, and put the disc away. But, of course, I'm speaking of Compact Discs here...
Avatar 4:09pm
Debbie Davenport:

↳ Owo Org At John @4:07
I've had friends who do separate it in their own collections. I tried and it got confusing to me. I mean do I put my christian records with the christmas records or with religion records or with childrens records! I will drive myself batty trying to find the best solution. so i have to not make it an issue for me.
