	8:21pm Dean: I bought my current pair of loudspeakers from a marvelous Berkeley stereo shop that is no longer in business, though the proprietor did go on to design a turntable that commands very high prices. One of the salespeople was a guy who knew Joe Henderson, so we listened to recordings on the shop's top system. Once I shared with him a CIMP recording featuring Marshall Allen. He was floored. He felt he could determine precisely where the mics had been placed. CIMP engineer Marc Rusch is brilliant.

One of the salespeople was a guy who knew Joe Henderson, so we listened to recordings on the shop's top system. Once I shared with him a CIMP recording featuring Marshall Allen. He was floored. He felt he could determine precisely where the mics had been placed. CIMP engineer Marc Rusch is brilliant.
