I love how powerful many orchestral recordings from the twenties and thirties are. There is a recording of the Boston Symphony Orchestra directed by Koussevitzky performing Gemnopedie No 1 for orchestra. From 1930. One of my favorite pieces of all time. Great crying music. Lol
