Summer Breeze came on the radio, and she asked me to recite the lyrics, and I couldn't. Maybe that's why I was ambivalent about the song. Maybe it was the hat. Who knows.

During that week I had a super vivid dream that I went to Long Island to meet Pos at his home. The dream consisted of buzzing to get into the building, taking the elevator, knocking on the door, getting let-in by a family member, and waiting in the front room. Didn't get to meet Pos in the dream, but wow, was I excited.

(which is no Ernie Isley but it sounds great!) so i grabbed my leaf-raking money, went and bought it. the flip was the mediocre-at-best we may never pass this way again which a few years later, along with surely a billion others, became our graduating class' song. ugh. - but listen to the Isleys version!
