You know this is the first song I performed publicly. We had a talent show at my school for grade 6, and the b side of this 7" is instrumental so I sang along and NAILED it. LOL. I also modern freeform ballet danced to "one night in bangkok" while wearing harem pants but we don't need to go into that....

The Princeton Garden Theatre, Montgomery Cinemas and the Clairidge are all pretty distant from me.
But what else can I do since COVID put an end to Red Bank's cinema and the Asbury Park Showroom? Technically those venues still exist, but they've changed for the worse (scarcer showings, commonplace films).

“Abbey Road” was just completed when Lennon was invited to Toronto to host it. Instead, he called some friends to form a band that would perform there.
Just before leaving, he told Allen Klein he was through with the Beatles. Allen told him to keep it secret for a while, but John did inform his abruptly formed Plastic Ono Band.
Then at the next business meeting (in October), he blurted it out to the others (though George Harrison was not present).
