	3:58pm DanFA: Best music biopic is Todd Haynes' Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story which he made using barbie dolls. He never got the rights to use the Carpenters music or Barbie dolls and is illegal to screen.
	3:58pm alexandra: The actress was interviewed in interview (ha!) and of course it was a glowing endorsement of the movie from the interviewer and it did seem like she put a lot of work into it but sometimes the puzzle pieces just don’t fit together. Kind of hoping for the end of biopics!

	4:02pm M: Respectful, minor correction on LP referenced in a great set The version played today of "It’s Alright" -- the Pet Shop Boys’ remake of Sterling Voids classic House anthem "It’s Alright" -- is NOT from the “Introspective” LP; it is actually from a greatest hits compilation. The version of "It’s Alright" from Introspective is a different (and longer) work, characterized by stark piano and rumbling synth bass lines as opposed to dominant, smooth synth and a different vocal of the greatest hits’ version. Both PSB versions are fun, but playing Void's original and the version from Introspective (which I prefer it’s AMAZING) together would be epic!

	4:02pm M: Respectful, minor correction on LP referenced in a great set The version played today of "It’s Alright" -- the Pet Shop Boys’ remake of Sterling Voids classic House anthem "It’s Alright" -- is NOT from the “Introspective” LP; it is actually from a greatest hits compilation. The version of "It’s Alright" from Introspective is a different (and longer) work, characterized by stark piano and rumbling synth bass lines as opposed to dominant, smooth synth and a different vocal of the greatest hits’ version. Both PSB versions are fun, but playing Void's original and the version from Introspective (which I prefer it’s AMAZING) together would be epic!
