Recently learned about the Keith Jarrett Köln Concert album, one of tbe bestselling and most critically acclaimed jazz albums of all time, which is a live recording of a starving, tired, and injured Keith Jarrett improvising live on a broken piano (there was a misunderstanding and the wrong piano—a rundown rehearsal one—was wheeled onto the stage). Very pretty ! ...which not every clutch of Rawk Musicians can do.
In fact strikes me as like Yes with more real texture & less airbrushing ...not that I wish to dis Yes, actually...

Efrayim Barak did a good Jon Anderson-style vocal scoop; Yuval Rivlin did a decent job channeling Rick Wakeman.

This is '75 and later, well after Bruford-era Yes. Nothing can approach Close to the Edge or Tales, to my mind.

And of course I know that Bruford is not the drummer for Tales.
