I know I don't like "Taxman" as done by a buncha well-off British moptops. I mean I know the tax burden on millionaires in the UK at the time was extreme, but I don't trust the reaction it was always gonna get from Americans, whose tax rates don't compare to most of the developed world. Hearing it done by a bluesman who was never, ever, close to being taxed at that rate is... interesting. It's almost like the Taxman is a metaphor for The Man?
