Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

The mono 45's from Baxter's are all desirable because the mixes have slight differences and the tracks don't overlap like on the LP. "Martha", in particular just drifts off rather than crashing into the next song, plus it's a considerably different mix.

Because of the money from Creedence, Fantasy was able to buy up classic jazz labels like Prestige & Riverside. So thanks to Fogerty I have many Original Jazz Classics CD reissues.

that's cool. Back in the 90s my mother worked for polygram and Fantasy was one of their labels so every month I was able to get 10 albums for $10. I got all the ccr and the Jam from that. Amongst others

My CCR records came from my uncle, who was still a teenager when they came out. He gave them to me when he was done listening to them. Several CCR 45's and an LP of Cosmo's Factory! I played them until they were unplayable!
