John, my Dad saw 2001 when it first came out in theaters in 1968 when he was 15. My Dad also was a big fan of Full Metal Jacket. My Dad said that it was very accurate to his experience of serving in the Marines๐Ÿ˜ณ

a friend and I were just having a discussion about a coffee commercial from when Twin Peaks was huge (season 1).
I remember there being a coffee commercial that was a direct parody of TP with an Agent Cooper type character gushing about how good the coffee was.
I think it was Boyd's, and my friend thought it was Folgers. Google is useless.
