I went on an exchange program when I wasn't eligible because she said so. She's responsible for my love of literature, though I had to settle for computer science because I don't speak German. There was a national high school competition, I qualified for math and English, my high school (hated me) said I could only run in one (there was no such rule). I chose English though I had no chance as a non-native speaker to honor that teacher, while math would have opened doors. I told her, and I was proud of that

I went on an exchange program when I wasn't eligible because she said so. She's responsible for my love of literature, though I had to settle for computer science because I don't speak German. There was a national high school competition, I qualified for math and English, my high school (hated me) said I could only run in one (there was no such rule). I chose English though I had no chance as a non-native speaker to honor that teacher, while math would have opened doors. I told her, and I was proud of that
