Wow, a cover of Starless. Over on WFMU's Sheena Jungle Room stream last Friday, DJ Georgy of the Flange & Frigate pub show played the original. So heavy. It was a Bill Bruford special with Yes and King Crimson cuts.

Charles @12:41: Some years ago I had some punkish sorts over to the house for a small partee. They'd never heard King Crimson. I put on "Starless" cranked on my big old stereo. They were stunned.

Hi Dan. It's Fridays 4 - 6 PM. DJ Georgy prerecords the music, so has lots of time to chat. It's one of the busiest comment boards on WFMU I think. There's a lot of humor.

They're new to me (my birthday present, great to get old...). I have those modes as well (though I really don't hear much difference between them). But it's on Universal now, I'm at work.
My hearing tests showed my hearing to not too bad until the high frequencies, then it fell off a cliff. The aids are supposed to compensate for that loss of highs, but it is taking some getting used to (when I'm outside, I think the birds are yelling at me).
