i smoked for a period of six months when i had a friend who was a friend of an ex girlfriend who also had a falling out with her we would install ourselves at the bar in east village and pound down twelve pints of guinness each and a pack of cigarettes each during a session and close the bar. i think we just reached our limit and stopped, but remained friends until she turned me down romantically, after which we still remained friends, but then she cockblocked me with a friend of hers and that ended the friendship...years later i wish we were still in touch... an addendum would be that smoking a pack of cigs in a few hours leaves your mouth feeling literally like an ashtray

I started smoking in junior high. I snuck cigs from my older sister. Didn't really start smoking regularly until high school. When my mom found out she didn't talk to me for two weeks. Mom never smoked. My father smoked cigs, cigars and pipes. Mom hated it.
