I guess I'll Sleep when I'm dead.
Every night, I just want to go out
Get out of my head
Every day, I don't want to get up
Get out of my bed
Every night, I want to play out
And every day, I want to do
But tonight I just want to stay in and be with you, ooh
And be with you

I rarely share the bed with my other half, we have such different work/life patterns, plus she has chronic back issues, meaning a whole different mattress set up. It's a madness. Anyway, we did try to sleep next to one another last night. It lasted 2 hours! My involuntary spasms and sleep talk finished it all off. So I got up around midnight and made cold brew for the morning. I think all was forgiven.

Spoke with my GP yesterday who agreed I should have the anti-biotic on hand that we were sent home from the hospital with two weeks ago. He's the best. Called it right in, I now have it.
Not trying to play doctor, just thinking logically.
She's been really out of it, they keep saying "the chemo" but I have to be able to kill any infection before it grabs hold & requires another hospitalization that neither of us wants.

They say, "We'll be your friends

Ah, but everybody's only looking out for themselves
And you say, "Well, who can you trust?"
I'll tell you, it's just nobody else's money
Money changes everything
I said money, money changes everything
You think you know what you're doing
We don't pull the strings
It's all in the past now
Money changes everything"

Right now it's like used car sales.
Using Medicare for an example:
Providers (like yourself?) bill Medicare at higher than expected gross payout because they know it will be negotiated down & down. Not fair to the provider at all. Years of training, expenses experience go into a medical professionals need to make a decent paycheck for services rendered.
Rather than all that complicated nonsense (which I have researched. the formulas to calculate how the final $$ to the provider is calculated...good luck) just set an absolute price per service code min. & max value & have the biller also provide codes where extenuating circumstances might apply. Those codes presently exist.
Docs get paid what they need to stay in practice (a current issue among many GP's). Patients don't wind up in bankruptcy (a very real problem).
Also cut out all the middlemen. That would substantially lower costs
