	10:46pm ultradamno: The second time I saw Big Black they did the setting off of a coil of firecrackers stunt...a pretty ill-advised idea since, unlike the first show, there was a full crowd in the unventilated basement venue that was No Bar, proprietor Jon Rans kept his gong that he used when his band Mystic Groovies played on stage all the time, I remember Santiago wisely positioning himself behind it. I remember Rans' young son Ian bolting for the door, I waited the detonation out and took the opening at the front of the stage the second the opportunity presented itself. There were no injuries, but everyone would observe a certain blackening of their snot later.

	10:46pm ultradamno: The second time I saw Big Black they did the setting off of a coil of firecrackers stunt...a pretty ill-advised idea since, unlike the first show, there was a full crowd in the unventilated basement venue that was No Bar, proprietor Jon Rans kept his gong that he used when his band Mystic Groovies played on stage all the time, I remember Santiago wisely positioning himself behind it. I remember Rans' young son Ian bolting for the door, I waited the detonation out and took the opening at the front of the stage the second the opportunity presented itself. There were no injuries, but everyone would observe a certain blackening of their snot later.
