Morricone Island pays tribute to one of the Great American composers Henry Mancini (1924-1994), on what would have been his 100th birthday month. Mancini's prolific body of work includes scoring for nearly 250 films, over 20 TV themes and series and 85 record albums (mostly for RCA) receiving 4 Academy Awards, 20 Grammy Awards and 70 Grammy nominations.
