"I bought this wonderful cassette a few years ago at a tiny tape stall in the beautiful Kissariat Al-Kifah area of Fes Medina, close to the Al Attarine Madrassa and Kairaouine Mosque. I asked the man running the stall if he had any Sahraoui or Mauritanian music and he pulled out two dusty old home recorded tapes. This is the first of the tapes, a live recording possibly from a wedding."
