I usta get the higher end (retail/nothing special) SONY dual decks. IMO, They would break down in various ways way to soon after average use. I would love to have read some recommendations.

Also their receivers were ok (warmish?) yet imo, must admit upgrading to ONKYO receivers was a positive move. Does/Did ONKYO make decent dual tape decks?
