Favoriting February 29, 2024: Political Theatre - Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground & Fatherland
LIVE from Los Angeles: Tonight we are dropping into two pieces of political theatre covering two very different era's. First we take a drive up to Ventura's Rubicon Theatre Company where Tony Award Winner John Rubinstein portrays Dwight D. Eisenhower during the Kennedy administration as he reflects on his life and the future of America in the one man show EISENHOWER: This Piece Of Ground. Then we head to the Fountain Theatre in Hollywood where FATHERLAND uses the transcripts of court proceedings, case evidence and public appearances of a 19 year-old in Texas who turns his father in to the FBI for his part in the January 6th Insurrection.
