If I recall, he had a whole album with this "band," "The Wesley Willis Fiasco." And I think they all just improvised the songs in the studio, if I remember correctly.

But it's one of the few I can think of that isn't that casio formula.

I haven't kept up with Ween, but "White Pepper" was the last one that I REALLY got into. One of the bartenders at my local dive was really into it, and we would just play it on repeat all night while I would drink through my paychecks.

Seeing Ween live was the MOST like seeing the Grateful Dead I've ever experienced. There was a parking lot scene, all sorts of people talking about previous shows they'd seen, lots of drugs, and people recording the show / selling bootlegs after. Audience sing-alongs. Blunts going around. it was wild.
