yeah, my mom was gone already through the dementia. the last few months the few times i talked to my father, he was really stressed. when he broke the news to me this week, he seemed, relieved... and i don't blame him....

/now for him throwing away my books, recordings, and other belongings, that's another matter...

just looked up Zoige on the map—I got roped into a trip to Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong not far from there in like 2010. Beautiful scenery, but terrifying airport, roads, & altitude. Full of tourists, but I think we were the only ones who weren’t from another part of China. 4-year old daughter got way more attention than she was ready for.
