I have small hands & a left pinky finger that's bent in a way to not reach the reach the fret board properly , so I play like Django.
I had a Hagstrom 1 bass years ago, until the resin front piece disintegrated & I sold it for parts.
It belonged originally to one of the guys in The Rubinoos.
Great instrument for small hands. Narrow neck , almost flat back radius (profile). Miss it.

Nice guy. Never has a bad thing to say about anyone , even those that screwed him over.Owns up to all of his mistakes over the years.
Rare in today's world of "victims."
After his diagnosis a few years ago (inclusion body myositis) that affected his ability to play, he has since worked hard to regain that ability & is once again on the road.

He started professionally at age 14 when Bill Wyman befriended him & took him to the early 60's London clubs & had him sit in with performers of the day.
Played, uncredited on Harrison's All Things Must Pass.
I know I've mentioned his work on Jobriath's LP's.
His dad was Bowie's art teacher & they remained good friends until the end. His work on both Fingerprints & Hummingbird in A Box is very good (of his more recent work)

Listen to Handy and myself!
Jump in the second line and listen to the Crescent City Connection!
Handy posted the links, but you can listen live on the Rock and Soul stream tomorrow between 10 AM and 11 AM.
In honor of their final show for Mardi Gras, Jason Isaacs is focusing on the music of Mardi Gras Indians.
Whether you are an aspiring Big Chief or not, you are welcome to join the Crescent City Connection Krewe on Saturday Mornings.

I was actually wondering where the event you said you were providing the sound for was.
Jason Isaacs actually tipped me off to the Mardi Gras party at Mama Tried tomorrow night.
Otherwise I would be making a beeline for the blue arrow farm tomorrow night.
Perhaps I will see you at the 10th annual Mardi Gras ball?

Hot-lanta is definitely a chocolate city.
When I was growing up in the metro area, I always thought that DC and Baltimore were the main chocolate cities.
