So great to hear this tribute. My first exposure to the Unclaimed came from the “Primoridial Ooze” record that I snagged at Venus records in NYC when I was still a teenager. That record along with the Chesterfield Kings as well Ugly Things and 99th Floor fanzines were my first introductions to contemporary garage bands at the time.

tip o' the cap to Dan Valentie, Unclaimed guitar player during the "Well It's True" era... he gave me a call when he heard about Shelley. Danny has been a recluse for a few years now too, but I think along with T.K. Smith of the original Big Sandy Fly Rite Trio, was one of the two coolest guitar players of our generation.
