I somehow never fell in love with Zeppein - where TheWho marched straight to center of my heart & took up permanent residence. Could well be there's a Metalhead / Punk~Alt cultural boundary (however invisibly drawn) going on there that could be expounded on...
Yet - when I watch 'How The West Was Won' - Live Zep in prime - sure, it's riveting.
Likewise - with the doors - one is easily repelled by ClassickRawk format overexposure - &/or the fandom of prolonged adolescents who never progressed from the doors to the Velvets or Stooges (or ArthurLee & Love) - & never will. In this case - I suggest trying the doc 'The Doors Are Open' maybe - for putting the doors in not only Live performance format - but squarely in the chaotic center of 1968 ...remembering their most crucial Statement was their first Album - no later than the cusp of 1966~7...

People control dogs, and that's why I'm afraid of dogs, they are a vessel for aggression without accountability. I hate people more than dogs
Jeff Moore:
Many dogs are such lovely creatures.
(but I'm not trying to imply that I think you should "just get over it". Real fears are real fears, and while I'm sad to hear you can't enjoy the dogginess of a dog, I don't expect it to happen.)
