Also of note was the trumpeter Wallace Roney, Jr, who was pretty good, though with a weird stage demeanor. I kept thinking, "Wallace Roney as your dad, and Geri Allen as your mom... no pressure!"

	8:39pm tom tom the pipers son: from what i heard today seems that moran does most interesting things around the margins of his playing (like the telephone call, or a dampened background repeating figure) hi playing, which i think is pretty traditional, although what's playin now isn't really, anyway a limited perspective from me
