	9:21am Gerry from Miami: I temember seeing "Z" at the base theater at Fort Monmouth, NJ(now closed) in late summer, 1970. Very exciting film with real-world political intrigue. The score made it even moreso.

	9:24am still b/p: Biggest wind gust on Mt. Washington in this storm so far this morning -- 132 MPH! Blasts aren't quite up to that at my house, but got significant a'shaking and some the biggest-ever a'rattling of windows going on. Storm be NOISY, even roary outside. I think the lids on the wheely-bin recycling containers just got flipped up violently -- not real dramatic but an indicator of fury and direction when bigger-energy storms visit.

Big Hand For The Little Lady -- another poker-centered flick that's not really recommendable, unless you like a ridiculous 60s western card-scammin' "comedy."

I was blown away by its vision. I don't understand where all the hate for it came from. I guess it fit the narrative of pretentious directors running amok.

Couldn't count how many times the Odessa steps scene has been referenced someplace or included in other montages

Blasts aren't quite up to that at my house, but got significant a'shaking and some the biggest-ever a'rattling of windows going on. Storm be NOISY, even roary outside. I think the lids on the wheely-bin recycling containers just got flipped up violently -- not real dramatic but an indicator of fury and direction when bigger-energy storms visit.

I was blown away by its vision. I don't understand where all the hate for it came from. I guess it fit the narrative of pretentious directors running amok.
