I was stressed about the forest fires being so close to my house and I just went inside of the song sort of.
	4:35pm Kittimu: Yeah I'll listen to a song 20 times a day sometimes and it's kind of embarrassing knowing people can see, but I'm trying to build up an immunity to shame so it's fine.

	4:42pm Debbie Davenport: ↳ Kittimu @4:36 YES! I love that. I love that other people obsess in that same way I do. I was still a toddler when taking piano lessons from our church organist. I kept getting confused once I got decent at it and could play more than little kid songs. I kept telling her it didn't sound the same. I was too young to realize it was because my piano was out of tune and also warped. So I would obsess on playing a song over and over and trying to get it the same. LIke one song all day on the piano. Eventually I trained myself to ignore what I heard and just concentrated on my coordinatinon and reading music. It took years for me to understand it was happening this way. One hungarian folk song I played sounded so cool on a piano like mine. I kept telling her it sounded like the Munsters theme song. But on her piano it sounded more bright. I eventually learned people use pianos like that on purpose. For a "cuban sound". anyway I think that is why I listen to songs over and over again and can't stop sometimes.

I kept getting confused once I got decent at it and could play more than little kid songs. I kept telling her it didn't sound the same. I was too young to realize it was because my piano was out of tune and also warped. So I would obsess on playing a song over and over and trying to get it the same. LIke one song all day on the piano. Eventually I trained myself to ignore what I heard and just concentrated on my coordinatinon and reading music. It took years for me to understand it was happening this way. One hungarian folk song I played sounded so cool on a piano like mine. I kept telling her it sounded like the Munsters theme song. But on her piano it sounded more bright. I eventually learned people use pianos like that on purpose. For a "cuban sound". anyway I think that is why I listen to songs over and over again and can't stop sometimes.
