Interesting! It seemed to make sense when we bought the mono set because for years we'd heard that those were really the mixes the band and George Martin had sweat over, the stereo ones being a second thought in the early days. Now that Giles has remixed several of the albums, we're curious to know but haven't pulled the trigger on any of them yet...

The mono version is what I grew up with. Paid for it myself all in pennies i"d saved up at the time. The mono version has quite a different version than what came out in stereo (and from the remix I played).

I grew up with the Stereo versions of all those Beatles albums (most of the US issues were stereo). I know folks hate the split "Beatles Stereo", but that's the way I always knew them to sound. those early influences are hard to get past.
