during the 2002 WC, I saw every game (it was in Korea/Japan) even though I was in grad school, teaching and djing. a friend found me asleep on a bench at tompkins square park b/tn games at 4am....in the final game, i fell asleep at halftime, and if wasn't for all of the brazilian flags everywhere, i wouldn't had know who won (i didn't sleep that summer)

Hey Scott_Oz! I saw one cricket match when I was in New Zealand. It was a One Day International. NZ vs Australia. NZ were soundly trounced by Australia. (Australia was having one of their best cricket seasons that year. New Zealand was not.) It was a nice warm sunny day spent outside with friends though.
