Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

Greets, Rev!🐰💣♏
I trust your b-day went splendidly. (I know, I could've asked on Dave Mandl's chatboard but, well, even an hour isn't time enough for a simple question...especially after jumping in late for the convo.)

Engineer Eddie Kramer tells of how they got Axis all Mixed perfectly ...& somehow - Jimi made off with the Album Master Tape - & managed to loose it in a cab or who knows what ! & they ReMixed it under a deadline from a lower quality Copy that Noel had or such...

Though I suppose that's where they are, most of the time. We normally only see them when there's roadkill, but normally I suppose they're in the forest, eating dead varmints.

Much like the complex (often legal) difference between "heretofore" and "hitherto" - I looked it up because of the Cocteau Twins song "Hitherto".
(Essentially, "heretofore" means up until now, the present. "Hitherto" refers to past events, up until that point.)

Wow, Jules, didn't think Rihanna was anywhere in your wheelhouse. I was busy cranking out mashups sometime after that song was charting.
This is a great idea for the bonus hour! There's a huge, rich library of BBC sessions worth going through. In my archives, I happen to have the Complete BBC sessions of The Fall & (coincidentally) Pink Floyd.
