Ahoy Devon & Islanders!

Disogs describes 90 Day Men as a "math rock band":

Yeah, the music in Sicario was amazing. The song for the end credits is unbelievably sad and haunting.

'Arrival" was an awesomely strange and captivating movie for me when I first saw it on HBO. Charlie "Tiger Blood" Sheen starred in it! His performance was top-notch.

Have yet to see "Candyman". Last week/month would've been a perfect time see it.

As a young pup, hearing those Italian film scores, featuring those eerie “music box” based scores were so indelible & hauting. Affected my ears and sensibilities to guide me toward a life of soundtrack & world film & sound appreciation.

Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s (aka JOE, hahaha), film “MEMORIA” (2021) is an interesting atmospheric slow film with distinctive sound. I definitely want to see many more of his (& those) films. Don’t sleep on his excellent unknowable “Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives” (2010).

"Chapulina" - Glad you translated that for me. Now I know what "El Chapulin Colorado" means, ha! (Ifou didn't know, that's the name of a comedy series about a faux superhero who's really a coward. Very popular on Mexican TV.)
