Dinner with the old friends was a real trip—in a good way. They surprisingly chose a restaurant/bar nearby (they live at a distance) where back in 1979 I used to go drinking with coworkers from a banquet hall where we worked after our shift. It used to be a dump, now it’s pretty.
I used to be pretty; now I’m a dump.

My friend Tony K. worked at a Roy Rogers on Market St. in Saddle Brook while we were in HS.
At the end of the night he had to toss all the leftover roast beast sandwiches & fries etc. in their dumpster.
Tony would double bag all the food & place it carefully in the dumpster.
Then we'd come around & grab it & feast.
Clean free food.
Nothing better for High Schooler's.
Tony was an amateur photographer all through HS. He passed away some years ago. Since you mentioned being a Supertramp fan, here's a Tony K. shot of Roger Hodgson (at left) at The Beacon Theater in '74 he took. Great show. Crime of the Century tour.

I mean, each stream kind of has its aesthetic going on, but it's all freeform. The main difference is that the DJs on the web-only streams are mainly remote and so can't broadcast from the station. For the most part, FM shows have in-person DJs, with a few exceptions mainly in the 6 PM slots.
