Imo, Sandinista was the last magnificent product they released. Was lucky enough to attend the crazy over sold Bonds Casino concerts back in May June 1981 = Impressionable memories. Bonus: both grandmaster flash and the slits opened for the clash the night I attended.

	2:16am Erik: Haha … “a riot” = almost literally. Packed like sardines in a huge open oval theatre. Huge speakers mounted high-up, almost 360° around. Definitely lost hearing that show. Infamously, grandmaster flash & the furious five got booed (hard rock punk dopes!) at least Joe Strummer chastised and requested the audience chill and give ‘em respect. the Slits were deafening and caterwauling as to be expected, I suppose. Sounded Nothing like the albums. Lost in a distorted over amped mix of audio hell. The magnificent drummer Topper Headon started it off with some drums and all was right with the world for abt 90 minutes. Heady memory moments.

	2:38am slugluv1313: ↳ Erik @2:16 YIKES!!! i remember those Bond's shows, but did not attend any of them -- i did luck out though, saw their first show in NYC (maybe the whole country too?) at the Palladium -- there were seats, but we were all standing on them almost immediately & jumping up & down like maniacs . . . saw them their next your, also at the Palladium (i somehow got front row seats), then their third tour at the Palladium too . . . i think it was the second time i saw them, it was a nasty rainy night -- and after the show, all of us "evil punk rockers" (as we were called back then 😹😹) were all very politely looking for our umbrellas; if we found one that was not ours, we made sure it was reunited with it's proper owner

	2:16am Erik: Haha … “a riot” = almost literally. Packed like sardines in a huge open oval theatre. Huge speakers mounted high-up, almost 360° around. Definitely lost hearing that show. Infamously, grandmaster flash & the furious five got booed (hard rock punk dopes!) at least Joe Strummer chastised and requested the audience chill and give ‘em respect. the Slits were deafening and caterwauling as to be expected, I suppose. Sounded Nothing like the albums. Lost in a distorted over amped mix of audio hell. The magnificent drummer Topper Headon started it off with some drums and all was right with the world for abt 90 minutes. Heady memory moments.
