Good question, Brian in UK. We DJs will be given access to the pledge apparatus after the Hellraiser is over so we can see who pledged and what comments were offered. WFMU restricts access to this during the Hellraiser because it doesn't want this monthlong fund drive to sound anything like our spring Marathon. So instead of thanking each pledger individually, we just thank everyone collectively.

That said... THANK YOU, Brian in UK!

Doug, I hear you. I had a show there in 2003 and some required bin cd I’d pull off the shelf would usually feature some duff recommended cut that would stick out like a sore thumb in the curated set I was playing. But that said, there is a new music staph guy who has attempted to make a better glimpse of the stuff available through sound examples. I’m in training there again to DJ after an almost 20 year hiatus. I am running in DJs who buck that 3 bin cut jive who have.been there for years. I am hoping one day to pitch a show idea to FMU. I resisted before because I didn’t think I could hack a weekly show. But now retired, sassy fresh, the kids all grown and outta the hause, it is much more imaginable. And hey, this is great stuff!

Doug, thank you! I will. I have an affinity for Spanish too. I am learning it and Mandarin., which is a whole diff system of teeth and tongue placements. Wow, neat. I never had much interest in traveling to South America (relative to other areas of the world) but now I am wanting to. I went to Panama once, for a week, staying in a small town and traveling around, and had a fantastic time. Incredible beaches, rain forest, food, really nice people, and it was great to see this small town
