A different show every week! Rotating DJs include Jon Nelson's "Sheena 'ssembly Required" (Tape Manipulations, Digital Deconstructions and Turntable Creations),
MarkTime (vintage radio airchecks), and Krys O (aka Sister Krys - WFMU alumna 1985-1991, longtime Church of the Subgenius monk. Playing cinematic ephemera, schizoid weirdos, all styles served here). Plus: surprise guests galore. (illustration courtesy of https://www.jimflora.com/)

Clair de Lune brings me back to a very sad experience that I had with a beloved cat who was very ill. Was up all night with him listening to classical music and Clair de Lune played in the morning. Unfortunately, the kitty had a terminal brain tumor. His name was Manfred Mann, Manny for short.

This feels like a shortwave broadcast aimed to comfort homesick crews on tanker ships out at sea. And that's a good thing.

I've been crying a lot while I'm sick, but I think that's because of the not sleeping. I just see the sweet / sad side of everything, I guess.

Manny was deaf. He was the sweetest cat I ever had.

This was a one-man radio station in Gloucester MA. Geller played classical in the 60s-80s. IIRC the broadcast day started when he woke up, and when he went to bed, the station went silent.
