Hello Larry. I know Otis is your favourite but the first time I heard this song around 1966 by Aaron Neville, it turned my head. It was a rarity to hear good soul then.

Avatar 🥁 4:39pm
WLSClark:

↳ Erica @4:36
So true. Always fun to have those until CDs kinda spoiled things with bonus cuts of non-LP stuff. CDs were a double edged thing just like youtube with old videos. IF you had them and they WERE rare, most are not anymore. The thrill of the hunt is so watered down now by such.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm
Funky16Corners:

↳ Erica @4:36
That, and many of the 45s are different edits of the song on the album. That Milt Matthews version of Little Green Apples is over 8 minute long, but there's a 45-edit as well.
Avatar 4:41pm
Erica:

↳ WLSClark @4:39

Yeah. I always like the 45 when they switch parts around too. Hollies "Jesus was a Crossmaker" 45 takes the LP version and moves all the things to different parts using same track. Same with DJ 45 of Jet by Macca.
