Well, probably the Turners Falls are *higher* than Bellows Falls, though they don't last as long. Both have dams that make the original falls very difficult to appreciate.

It's because it actually originated in 1967 on "At Last the 1948 Show" with its four actors John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Marty Feldman.
And it wasn't those two future MPFC actors who wrote the skit, it was Tim and Marty!
