	4:44pm tenacious_bird_of_prey: Back in the day I turned a walkman into a Theremin. I attached a light sensitive resistor to the battery line, and played a cassette tape with a constant tone. As you covered the resistor the pitch would go down as the power reduced the tape speed. It' was pretty fun. I wish I could be at the workshop!

It has been weeks but I didn't want to rush with just the thing I happened to be listening to that week. Yesterday, I spent the morning listening to Márcio Faraco's discography and it really moved me (okay it triggered a very personal memory with all the singing in portuguese, but still.. I think it may qualify) So I am timidly suggesting it, since I am not quite sure it's the kind of sound you might be looking for

	4:44pm tenacious_bird_of_prey: Back in the day I turned a walkman into a Theremin. I attached a light sensitive resistor to the battery line, and played a cassette tape with a constant tone. As you covered the resistor the pitch would go down as the power reduced the tape speed. It' was pretty fun. I wish I could be at the workshop!

It has been weeks but I didn't want to rush with just the thing I happened to be listening to that week. Yesterday, I spent the morning listening to Márcio Faraco's discography and it really moved me (okay it triggered a very personal memory with all the singing in portuguese, but still.. I think it may qualify) So I am timidly suggesting it, since I am not quite sure it's the kind of sound you might be looking for
