The Radio Is Broken is a three-hour spelunk through the canyons and fissures of humanity's collective unconscious. It sounds as if a field recording of the Culture Industry were a sonic juggernaut barreling down a rickety track—except that tunnel ahead is just painted onto a sheer cliff wall. With occasional forays into what might pass for "normal" music. Prerequisite journey: Cratedigger's Lung

Sorry for lack of comments during the last hour or so (Btw, thanks for the Zappa fix Rich!), but since I mentioned vintage library music during the Rudy Schwartz Project set, I thought I'd share something that might interest you. An enthusiast of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the studio's early years, identifying himself as "Don Yowp", created a blog dedicated to the subject, gathering all sorts of available articles and press releases on H-B related info. His blog also includes articles on the music used in those first cartoons, some of which he's made available for download (with some assistance from blog readers). The ones I'm posting here contain the majority of cues featured on the blog, ripped mostly from the Capitol Hi-Q series that were used everywhere on TV and films. You'll find other neat cues elsewhere on the blog if you search through with the help of the tags posted to the right of the screen. Help yourselves!:
