	6:30pm Mike Sin: I think there's has always been great music being made in every decade. Given the current business model, though, being in a band is closer to a "boutique hobby" than an occupation. Previously, there were many outlets within the industry to build even a humble career of some sort. Now, I feel the current situation cause a high turnover rate -- folks with a lot of talent bail out early because there just isn't a chance to keep it together without some sort of "patron."

I just think the current model sacrifices a lot of artists -- the availability and the market reach is there, but a profit model for an artist that might need some cultivation by a label of a producer? 	6:30pm Mike Sin: I think there's has always been great music being made in every decade. Given the current business model, though, being in a band is closer to a "boutique hobby" than an occupation. Previously, there were many outlets within the industry to build even a humble career of some sort. Now, I feel the current situation cause a high turnover rate -- folks with a lot of talent bail out early because there just isn't a chance to keep it together without some sort of "patron."
